Debbie is our fantastic nanny, who has been with us since February. She's great about sending texts and pics throughout the day so that Mommy always knows how Joey is doing. Here are just a few of the cute pics that she's sent over the last few months:
Josephine, or Joey as we call her, joined the world on November 1, 2011. With friends and family located near and far, we have set up this blog so that everyone can watch Joey grow along with us. Until we meet again...

Aunt Libby's Wedding
In June, we travelled to Florida for Aunt Libby's wedding. Joey got to meet her cousins, Emma, Lance, Mackenzie and Gerard, for the first time. We had a lot of fun playing in the pool, walking on the dock and sailing in Poppy's brand new hobie cats. Aunt Libby was an absolutely beautiful bride. Unfortunately, we don't have any personal pics of Joey and Aunt Libby on the big day. Hopefully, we'll be able to post some of the whole family after the photographer's photos come out. The last two photos are from Joey's first trip into a church crying room. Daddy escorted her in there after she decided to start commentating during the ceremony!

Happy Half Birthday!
Joey's six month check-up went very well, although she doesn't like the doctor or the shots very much. Not that we blame her! Her latest stats: 15 lbs. 6.8 oz and 26" long. We say this every month, but it's hard to believe that six months have gone by already. The time has flown by yet it's hard to remember what life was like before our sweet girl was born

So this is what food tastes like?
Over the weekend, Joey sat in her high chair and ate rice cereal for the first time. She wore more of it than she ate, but we'll keep trying. Thanks to Miss Krysten for her chair!
Spring Break 2012
In April, Joey went on her first spring break trip to Sebastian, Florida. She took her first dip in the pool, attended Aunt Libby's bridal shower, received her first visit from the Easter bunny and flew on a plane for the first time. The plane ride was certainly the most stressful first for Mommy, but Joey handled the trip like a pro. Both Mom and the other passengers were very appreciative!
